Maddie Found Her Forever Home

Maddie (fka Misty May) has been adopted! Some time ago, Maddie's new family (a pair of sisters) heard about ACPB after running into one of our volunteers and foster dogs. Shortly after one of the two sisters lost her Jack Russell/Pit Bull terrier mix, Margo, to old age. When they saw Misty May's photo online, they were smitten with her.

They contacted us wanting to set up a meet and greet, and arrived at Misty May's foster home with German chocolate brownies as a present and excited to meet their girl. The second they saw Misty May doing her best cowabunga in the yard they were ready to sign her adoption papers. Maddie shares her home with two feline siblings who are dog savvy. We are confident that goofy and youthful Maddie will thrive in her new home.
