Welcome To Angel City Pit Bulls
Welcome to our site! Our organization started as a group of like-minded pit bull fans doing independent rescue work and has grown into a collaborative and supportive village, dedicated to being a resource for everything pit bull in Los Angeles, the "City of Angels". Please join us as we Educate, Advocate and Celebrate these amazing dogs.
“3 to 6 months. With kidneys as bad as his… I’d prepare if I were you.” It’s difficult to hear this about your dog when he’s been at your side for years — and even harder with our 14-month-old pit pup, Elliot. The vet meant well, but “prepare” sounded like a call to reduce our brown-furred, freckled, jowl-laden, enthusiastic dog to a condition and ticking clock.
Help Us Help Them
Angel City Pit Bulls is proud to be a coalition member in the Best Friends Animal Society initiative “NKLA,” (No Kill Los Angeles). In order to achieve this goal, Best Friends has opened a new state-of-the-art adoption facility where over 100 dogs and cats from Best Friends and a variety of other rescue groups will be showcased.

Puppy Juliette came our way from Castaic Shelter with a large mass on her head. At first unsure of what we were dealing with, we learned she had cellulitis and a fluid collection most likely caused by a bite. Fortunately, as you can see from her beautiful photos, Juliette responded well to surgery and her injury has since healed. Although her little noggin is still a bit lumpy, we think it only adds to her adorableness.
