Welcome To Angel City Pit Bulls

Welcome to our site!  Our organization started as a group of like-minded pit bull fans doing independent rescue work and has grown into a collaborative and supportive village, dedicated to being a resource for everything pit bull in Los Angeles, the "City of Angels". Please join us as we Educate, Advocate and Celebrate these amazing dogs.

When I adopted Olive from the South LA Shelter, she was attacked by a stray dog within the first month we had her. Due to her fear and anxiety, we had to work through a lot of reactive leash energy which was new for my fiance Tim and me. I think every dog you own teaches you something new about how to understand them, lead them, and teaches you things about your own personality.

Featured Adoptable Dog

A true California boy at heart, Logan will win you over with his perpetual tan, casual ear-flop, and happy tail wag. Logan enjoys his walks and hikes, and is learning basic obedience -- will sit for jerky! He is an inquisitive guy and enjoys taking in all the sights and sounds on his daily strolls. Afterward, he loves a good scratch behind the ears before settling in for a deep snooze in his crate. And if there's a frozen peanut butter Kong around, all the better.
