Welcome To Angel City Pit Bulls

Welcome to our site!  Our organization started as a group of like-minded pit bull fans doing independent rescue work and has grown into a collaborative and supportive village, dedicated to being a resource for everything pit bull in Los Angeles, the "City of Angels". Please join us as we Educate, Advocate and Celebrate these amazing dogs.

“3 to 6 months. With kidneys as bad as his… I’d prepare if I were you.” It’s difficult to hear this about your dog when he’s been at your side for years — and even harder with our 14-month-old pit pup, Elliot. The vet meant well, but “prepare” sounded like a call to reduce our brown-furred, freckled, jowl-laden, enthusiastic dog to a condition and ticking clock.

Featured Adoptable Dog

Piglet is a playful, wiggly dude who we met at the East Valley Shelter. This happy go lucky goofball is respectful of boundaries in his foster home. With his flexible energy, Piglet enjoys a nice walk but will gladly follow it with a Kong in his crate for some downtime. We think he would do best as the only dog in your home.
