Lily's Adoption Tale

Lily (fka Daphne) has been adopted! Lily's new family met us at the NKLA Super Adoption event. After the event, Lily joined our foster program and her new family saw her online profile. They came to the June Molly's Mutts and Meows Adoption event where she was making her debut.

Lily's new family are very dog-savvy and had a pit bull named Petunia for 11 years that they rescued from a shelter in Seal Beach. She passed away from lymphoma about 3 months ago, and eventually they were ready to adopt a new dog - we think Lily is very similar in appearance to their Petunia, and it is very fortunate the timing was perfect for Lily who was ready for a family to call her own. Lily has made herself right at home with her new family. She enjoys playtime in their yard, gently cares for her 18-month old human brother, and loves snuggling in her their home.
