Lady is Adopted

Lady (fka Raven) has been adopted from the NKLA Pet Adoption Center! Lady's mom said goodbye to her beloved pit bull last summer and she was finally ready to get a new dog. After meeting a shepherd mix at an adoption event and falling in love, she thought about it and really wanted to adopt a pit bull, so she researched "LA pit bull rescue"; ACPB came up and she saw Raven's photo and submitted an application for adoption. Our adoptions coordinator sent her to the center where she adopted Raven immediately after meeting her ... and then she adopted the shepherd puppy as well!

Lady's new mom is an experienced dog owner and, while we don't always recommend welcoming two new dogs into your home at the same time, we are confident that this family will thrive nonetheless. Lady's mom works at home during the day so she is able to spend a lot of time training her new pups. Lady is settled in with her new sister Louise, aka Weezy and their mom. Congratulations to them all!
