Kaya's Adoption Story

Kaya (fka Peggy Sue of the Sock Hop puppies) has been adopted! Kaya's dad completed an adoption questionnaire with us interested in adopting an adult dog. He played a big part in the adoption of ACPB alum Hanna Banana and we were excited about his interest in adopting from us. After a few conversations, he decided that Peggy Sue checked all the boxes for him and the adoption was finalized.

After dropping Kaya off, her foster mom sent us this note: "Needless to say it was hard dropping her off. However, it was a comfort to see how quickly she climbed into his lap and how excited she was to see Stella again. Brian's friend was also there and she kept reassuring me what a wonderful life she will have with her new dad. It truly has been a bitter sweet day and I am really going to miss that little one." Kaya's dad sent a little update to her former foster mom letting her know that she is settling in wonderfully in her new home. Congratulations!
