Bentley Peter (fka Petey) Has Been Adopted!

Bentley's adopters contacted ACPB approximately 6 months ago expressing interest in adopting one of our dogs. They wanted to wait to adopt, but knew that once they were ready, they wanted everything in order so that the adoption could happen smoothly. Of course we were quite impressed with their planning skills and maturity, and we knew that when they were ready, they would be a great match for one of our dogs.

They attended the adoption event in the park in September and met Bentley - who is very special to us; he was our tiniest rescue dog to date, and was cared for immensely by one of our fosters so that he could grow up to be the awesome dog he is today. His adopters decided to name him Bentley Peter, to honor his rescue history and keep his name similar to Petey.

Bentley is settled in with his new family and they have continued work on his manners and crate training. They can't wait until they can start taking him on hikes. Congratulations to Bentley and his new family!
