Solange

Solange would be pleased to meet you--and even more pleased to show off all of her favorite toys to you! This friendly gal has been having a great time in her foster home, making a name for herself as a perfectly pleasant work from home companion mixed with a wonderful friend for out and about adventures around town. Her foster mom says “I love that she loves everyone! She is such a happy little girl and I feel comfortable bringing her around town.”

Solange has a flexible yet puppyish energy level that makes her a prime candidate for walks, hikes, or even running, and can easily get into play mode when it’s time. She also quite enjoys the finer art of relaxing in her crate, and considers it her personal little apartment. She loves to run in and out of her crate with her toys, doing an inventory before starting her next toy parade to show off her favorites. She’s a smart cookie, too, and settled into the routine of her foster home quickly. A little training goes a long way, and she’ll eagerly check in on her walks to see if she’s doing things right (so bring treats, she says!). She’s also ready for the gardening season ahead and is working on perfecting the part of yard lounging while you water your plants.

Solange has been participating in playgroups and we are still learning about what her ideal dog match would be if she goes home with another dog. Most likely, it will be another tolerant, playful dog. In the meantime, she’d be happy to go home as your one and only and work on making dog friends in your circle!

About 7 months old and 45 pounds, Solange is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
