Sammie

Sammie joined us from the South Los Angeles shelter where she quickly became a volunteer favorite. She is an adorably sweet, medium energy girl who loves to give gentle kisses. This little sweetheart loves her crate, and is quiet as a mouse. Little Sammie has a goofy side too, she loves to suddenly break into super-fast zoomies around the yard with silly grin on her little wrinkled face. She runs with such abandon that it is darn near impossible not to laugh at her as she narrowly misses things in her path (be sure to watch out for your knees).

Sammie can be a little shy at first - particularly in new surroundings. She is looking for a family who will be patient with her and provide gentle reassurance as she learns about the world. Sammie truly enjoys the company of other dogs, and they certainly help her gain confidence when she is unsure, and she would also enjoy a kitty friend.

Sammie is a small girl, and will likely top out around 50 lbs as an adult. She is around 8 months old, up to date on routine shots, microchipped, crate-trained, and is learning her basic manners.
