Mamie

Sweet Mamie is ready to find her future family! Mamie loves people and is sweet and calm at home. She’d love to help you get your garden going, or spend all day lounging and reading your favorite books. Want to stroll around the neighborhood? Mamie’s in! She enjoys a casual jaunt and loves to take in all the new smells. Snuggling, though, is her real forte, and she loves to sidle up right next to you for pets and some kisses (get ready to see her snaggletooth come out--it’s adorable!).

Mamie spent some time in a foster home with a cat, and we think with continued guidance and a slow introduction, she could be successful living with a cat. Mamie would prefer to be the only dog at home, though with another respectful dog and very slow intro, she’d be willing to consider a roommate!

About 5 years old and 55 pounds, Mamie is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
