If you’ve spent some time with a senior dog, you probably know that there’s something extra special about these older pups. “Extra special” certainly describes Gordy. He’s gentle, sweet, friendly, and just...well...wonderful! Gordy is a neighborhood delight at his foster home--his neighbors regularly shout out their car windows to tell him how good he’s looking! He absolutely loves his daily exercise to keep his joints limber. And after his morning constitutional, get ready to relax! This guy can snooze the day away, and is happy to do so from the comfort of your lap if you let him. Gordy has befriended adults, teenagers, and toddlers--everyone is a friend, in his opinion.

Gordy has met both large and small dogs, and we think that he would be perfectly happy living with other respectful dogs--his WWE days are behind him! He’d also be completely content as your one and only. We have it on good authority that he can give you all the snuggles you could ever need.

While Gordy will need some daily medications to keep him feeling spry, this guy has shown us that with his daily walks and snuggle sessions, he’s feeling pretty darn good for gentleman of a certain age! About 11 years old and 75 pounds, Gordy is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
