Bowie

We met Bowie at the grand opening of the South LA Animal Shelter. While walking the kennels we happened upon his sweet face. One look at his cute underbite, pink nose, and light eyes and we were hooked.

Bowie is sensitive soft soul; he loves people and truly wants to please. Bowie is confident around other canine pals and would do best in a home with a playful easy friend who wouldn't take offense to his sometimes pushy play-style. While he very much enjoys the company of other well-matched dogs, he is still learning play manners. With a slow introduction, Bowie would also do well in a home with a cat.

Bowie has a flexible energy level. He's pretty much up for anything - a juicy hike, a short walk, or rolling around in the dirt in the backyard are all fine with him. As long as he has a human or play pal near he's open to whatever the day may hold. Bowie is approximately 60 pounds, 1 1/2 years old , up-to-date on routine shots, microchipped, crate-trained, and is learning his basic manners.
