Booker is more than just a pretty face--he’s a goofy, loving, playful guy who lights up everyone’s life who meets him! In his foster home, he loves strolling around the neighborhood and helping his foster mom around the house with anything from making meals to decluttering the closet--he’s a true asset as a quarantine buddy.

Booker is a proud graduate of the Paws For Life prison program, where he learned basic obedience commands and brushed up on his manners. His trainers said, “Booker is a good dog that only wants to play and to be loved!” and “Booker is loving, playful, affectionate, and sweet.”

Booker is a fixture in playgroups, both during his time at Lancaster State Prison and in our program. Booker enjoys other playful dogs and is happy to romp the day away, running, chasing, and wrestling! We think Booker would enjoy going home with another playful dog, but would also be perfectly happy as your one and only, making canine friends along the way.

About 2 years old and 70 pounds, Booker is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
