Queen of Pillows and Appreciator of Stuffies Bernadette is just about the biggest sweetheart anyone could meet. Her foster parents say, “We are constantly in awe of just how lovable she is.” With her calm, loving demeanor, Bernadette is an instant hit with new friends. If they stick around, she may even do her signature dramatic flop to the floor and demand belly rubs by pawing the air with her little feet.

Bernadette has several favorite activities: Taking the most snuggly naps on the couch (preferably with you right next to her!), appreciating her favorite stuffies, eating peanut butter, and getting belly rubs. Around the house, Bernadette likes to bop around with her people, with the hopes that you’ll be heading back to the couch with her so she can get back to snoozing.

More fun Bernadette facts: She loves to use her favorite stuffie as a pillow, or parade it around to show off and get you to follow her back to the couch. Regular pillows work for her, too--she loves to rearrange a big pile of throw pillows for her maximum comfort. And when she’s in relaxation mode, get ready to giggle when you see Bernadette completely conked out on her back with her legs in the air!

Out in the world, Bernadette is quite the power walker with a lot of interest in the environment. A quieter neighborhood may help her tap into her loose leash walking potential with more ease than the stimulation of busier areas. A house with a yard would be right up her alley, too!

About 5 1/2 years old and 60 pounds, Bernadette is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
