Bamboo

Hop in the car, go for a nice walk, chill on a patio--that all sounds like an ideal day for Bamboo! This gentle giant plays things close to the chest on first meeting, but give him a moment and soon you’ll see the real Bamboo: A goofy, snuggly, fun-loving boy! His foster family said, “Once he feels comfortable he turns into a big floppy goober that just wants to be involved in the moment. He is by far the "I’m just happy to be here guy."”

Bamboo has been a fixture in playgroups, where he enjoys frolicking with other dogs--or if all the dogs are being boring, he’s happy to frolic on his own! We think Bamboo would love to go home with another confident dog to show him the ropes, but with a patient family, he could be your one and only, too.

About 3 years old and 80 pounds, Bamboo is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
