If you believe that ball is life and things that are derpier are just better, might we introduce you to Arby? Arby joined us by way of Dogs Playing For Life’s National Canine Center, where he underwent extensive training--in fact, he was almost an explosives detection dog, but a hip surgery held him back from going to work! Now, Arby is plenty healthy for family time and has been making a name for himself with his great house manners, crate skills, pleasant leash manners, and willingness to play fetch any time, any place--you name it, he’s there!

Arby is a people pleaser and loves to show off his “park it” while he waits for you to tell him, “Fetch!” And when the game is over, he’s content to lounge around with you and any new friends you’ve invited over along the way. He happily crunches on baby carrots when it’s time to help in the kitchen, and if you need a little pick me up smile, he’ll give you his signature nose nudge to remind you, “Hey! No matter what’s going on in life, soon it will be time to play ball again--and everything will be good!” This derpy boy (just wait til you see his lip get caught on his teeth as he gives you his eager grin…) is ready to find his future family and make every day a happy, happy day.

About 3 years old and 70 pounds, Arby is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands plus more.
