Alfie

Meet Alfie, one of our ten Hurricane Harvey transplants! Alfie made his way to Los Angeles after undergoing a 30 day stray hold period in Houston. Once he got here, he spent some time decompressing and making friends with another one of our foster dogs, Raleigh. We learned Alfie was heartworm positive, and after undergoing the long treatment process, he’s finally ready to find his forever home.

Alfie is eager to learn and smart as a fox (with ears to match). He’d love to keep learning new commands and tricks with his future family--in fact, we think he’d be a pro at clicker training. This boy has a sharp mind and has kept his foster family laughing with his hilarious, goofy antics. He’s curious about new things and always remembers where the tank bones are kept!

Alfie is happy to entertain you all by himself, or could potentially go to a home with another well-matched dog in a home that practices good multi-dog management.

About 1 1/2 years old and 45 pounds, Alfie is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
