Tubbs joined us from the South LA shelter, where he won us over with his sweet, gentle demeanor. Don’t let his initial shyness fool you--with just a little time, Tubbs warms up and wants to be best friends, complete with lots of snuggles. Tubbs loves other dogs and has a polite, easygoing play style. He also did well on his initial cat test and with continued guidance, we think he could go to a home with cats.

Tubbs’ foster family says he is a dream on leash and enjoys sniffing all around the neighborhood during his strolls. Back at the house he enjoys hanging out in his crate and having a delicious peanut butter Kong.

About 2 years old and 60 pounds, Tubbs is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
