Scruffles

Scruffles is a happy little muppet who has joined the ranks of “pit bull adjacent” with her shaggy hairdo. Her foster mom describes her as “so joyful about life.” With her pearly white smile and chin hair, it’s impossible not to be charmed by Scruffles--especially when she has treat crumbs in her scruff. Scruffles has a lovely flexible energy level and would be happy to conquer all the walks, hikes, or jogs that you have planned, but she’s also proven herself to be a fantastic work from home assistant--she’s even figured out how to fit her small little self right behind her foster mom in her office chair.

So far, Scruffles has had a blast meeting her new human and canine friends, and she’s been excited to take in all the sights and sounds of the world. She’s a smart cookie, so she’ll be ready to channel her wiggles and enthusiasm into sophisticated dog manners with your guidance. Scruffles has also gone through the Paws For Life prison training program, where she's refining her skills and learning all sorts of new things!

So if you’re looking for a happy, fun dog to join you for life’s adventures (and life’s naps during zoom meetings), Scruffles is ready for the job! She’d be happy to go home with another dog, or be your one and only with some playdates in the mix!

About 1 year old and 40 pounds, Scruffles is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
