Yo-Yo is our resident long legged athlete and he’s ready to find his happy, friendly self a family! Yo-Yo loves activities, and you’ll know he’s ready for an excursion when you see his tail going when his leash comes out. This fun loving guy loves long walks around the neighborhood, hikes, and would make a great running partner. He also has some of the best yard boogeying skills we’ve seen in a while--with his athletic, long legs, watching him leap and frolic will make your day! And when he’s done, he’ll be ready to nestle up for a booty scratch--and you’ll know he’s enjoying it by the way he leans into you with a big, happy, chin-tilted smile.

Through a partnership with Paws for Life K9 Rescue, Yo-Yo received 6 weeks of training at Lancaster State Prison, where he participated in playgroups and learned tons of basic training and obedience commands! He’ll gladly make your acquaintance and show you what he knows in exchange for some tasty treats (then back to booty scratches, please!). Yo-Yo enjoys other dogs and we think he’d be happy living with another dog, or being your one and only partner and best friend!

About 2 years old and 65 pounds, Yo-Yo is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
