Twinkie

Twinkie joined our program from the South LA shelter, where she had a bad case of mange. After spending several weeks healing, Twinkie is looking great with her fresh fur coat and is ready to find a home of her own. Her foster family reports that sweet Twinkie has diverse interests ranging from chasing sticks to snuggling--so no matter what your plans are for the day, Twinkie’s ready to join.

Twinkie loves attending pack hikes and recently added Runyon Canyon to her list of trails she’s conquered. If you’re looking to have a conversation afterward, though, you’re out of luck--she’ll be snoozing in the back seat. Twinkie enjoys the company of other dogs, but is happy to soak up your attention on her own.

About 1 year old and 40 pounds, Twinkie is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
