Persephone

Persephone joined us from the North Central shelter where she won us over with her sweet demeanor and polite manners. She likes to take her time when meeting new people and dogs, but she warms up quickly (even quicker when there are treats involved).

Once she’s gotten to know you, Persephone is playful and fun. With her flexible energy she would be a great match for a moderately active family that would enjoy watching her jump into a kiddie pool every now and then - a favorite activity while she was at the shelter.

About 1 1/2 years old and 60 pounds, Persephone is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
