Keisha

She’s a gentle giant, and you’ll know she’s coming because you’ll hear volunteers gleefully shouting “Pony!” as she walks down the hall--yep, that’s Keisha! This larger than life girl has become a favorite of anyone she meets. Just watch her happily trot down the play yard with her effortless strides and you’ll be mesmerized. Keisha’s favorite move is to suddenly appear next to you and place her chin right on your hip, gently asking for head scratches. And who could say no to this sweet girl! She’s happy to head out for a walk or prance around playgroups, but is equally ready to have a relaxing petting session or curl up for a nap.

Keisha has done great in our playgroups and we think she’d fit right into a home with another well matched dog--she’s done great meeting small dogs, too! Keisha is a friend to felines, as well, and did well living in a foster home with a cat.

About 5 years old and 115 pounds, Keisha is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on her basic commands.
