Jujubee’s one of those dogs that plays things close to the chest till she feels comfortable. But as she settles in, she’ll start showing off the real Jujubee: A gardening aficionado, a quiet companion, and a sometimes positively silly girl! She’s looking for a calm adoptive home that can give her the time she needs to feel comfortable–preferably with the help of a canine sibling or two (she loves dogs, and gains a lot of confidence from them!).

Jujubee loves food and also loves a good game of fetch–two great items for your arsenal when you’re having quality Juju bonding time. She’s been exploring the world on walks (she’s got great loose leash skills!) and enjoys sniffing for the latest news. You can often find Jujubee in a lovely shady spot in the dirt (in fact, probably in your garden bed, where she might help herself to a squash, too…she’s consistent in her hobbies!). She loves a good yard hang and would probably lounge there all day if she could--it’s her favorite place to unwind!

In the house, Jujubee does very well in her crate and enjoys a cozy couch hang, too. With time and patience, she’s going to keep flourishing.

We think Jujubee would do best in a home with another confident, playful dog of any size. She has also lived with a cat in the past and did well.

About 3 years old and 50 pounds, Jujubee is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
