Edna

If you’ve been looking for a dog that will snuggle with you for all your binge watching extravaganzas, lounge with you in the shade as the world passes by, or hop in the car to take in the sights and sounds, Edna is very much your girl. This low riding lady loves nothing more in the world than being adored by people and spend time with her family. Her ideal day would involve a circle of friends sitting around her taking turns petting her.

You may notice that Edna is shaped a bit like a large potato with four smaller potatoes for legs. You can count her out for Paris 2024 or really anything more than a quick shuffle to the top of the block--in that sense, she’s very low maintenance! She’ll hold down the fort in the AC while you hit the trails, and when you’re back, she’ll show off her happy, excited hops as you tell her all about your adventures. Her foster family reports she’s fantastic in the house, too!

So far, around other dogs Edna prefers to coexist and would much rather hang out with the people nearby. We think if she got to choose, she might prefer to be the only object of your affection, but could potentially cohabitate with another well-matched dog.

About 4 years old and 70 pounds, Edna is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands.
