Speckled smartypants coming through! Happy-go-lucky Bandicoot is eager to please and loves to be loved, and has made a name for himself as a volunteer and foster favorite. This mushy boy enjoys snuggling up and getting attention, but is also ready to be on his best behavior on walks (if you have some treats for his tricks, even better!). His eager trot will put a smile on your face. And he’s good for a laugh, too--his foster mom says, “My favorite thing about him is how funny he is when he goes to do something athletic and fails and slides out into a puddle on the floor.”

Bandicoot would make a great companion for someone looking for a best friend to be by their side. He’s up for anything, from hitting the trails to strolling the sidewalks, and is down to play anytime--but also appreciates the importance of quality beauty sleep! He makes a wonderful work from home companion and will dutifully assist by sleeping next to your work station.

Bandicoot recently completed 6 weeks of training with our partners at Paws For Life. There, he worked on his leash walking skills and general manners, and he will be thrilled to show you all of his new obedience skills.

Bandicoot currently lives with another large dog and has had a blast in playgroups. We think he would be a great addition to your pack, but would also be happy as your one and only--he’ll help you find friends for future playdates!

About 1 1/2 years old and 75 pounds, Bandicoot is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows his basic commands.
